Why Use a Blogging Site to Make Money?

The best reason to use a blogging site to make money from is quite simple: The search engines prefer them to a static HTML site.

One of the reasons the search engines (SE) prefer them is because of the way they are designed. They use a CMS system which makes it easy for their bots to crawl and index them with ease. Isn’t it nice to know that even automation prefers to do things the easy way!

CMS stands for content management system. I am not a techno geek but when content is labeled for easy access by someone reading the blog and it makes the information that you are sharing easy for them to reach and stay reading your blog, it makes all the search engines very happy. If you want to improve your PR (Page Rank) then you need to keep the SE and your readers happy and satisfied with the information available from your blog.

Page rank is not so important as it once was but it is vital if you want your blog to come up earlier in the pages made available by a search engine when someone types in your keywords. It is much better to be on page one than it is to be on page 3 or lower. People don’t look backwards for any number of reasons; the main one being that they usually find the information on a blog that is made available on the first page. If not the first page then few go beyond page 2.

If people don’t visit your blog it is impossible for you to make any money. If you aren’t blogging for money, then you probably still hope that the information that you are providing to your blog will be of use to someone, somewhere. Otherwise, why are you spending your time blogging at all?
